Business Listing & Claim Policy

Effective date: October 8, 2026

This policy explains how business listings appear on BizMox, how owners claim them, and how we handle edits and disputes.

1. Listings on BizMox

BizMox may display listings for businesses that appear to operate in a given location and category. A listing may exist before the business owner creates an account. Presence on BizMox does not mean the business asked to be listed, and does not imply a partnership.

2. Claiming a listing

Authorized owners or managers may claim a listing through our claim or dashboard flows. We may require verification (email domain, phone, documents, or other signals) to reduce fraud.

By claiming a listing, you represent that you are authorized to manage that business’s public profile and that submitted information is accurate.

3. Editing and paid features

Claimed listings may unlock editing, verification badges, media uploads, and paid upgrades as described on Pricing. We may review, reverse, or delay changes that appear misleading, unlawful, or abusive.

4. Duplicate and competing claims

If multiple parties claim the same listing, we may request proof of authority and temporarily lock edits. Our determination for platform purposes is final, without deciding underlying legal ownership disputes between parties.

5. Removal and suppression

You may request updates or removal of inaccurate fields. We may retain minimal records needed for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance. Entirely removing a widely known public business from all discovery channels is not always possible or appropriate; we will discuss reasonable options.

6. Contact
